Color photos...

These were the 100 speed film pushed. They look kinda' cool. You start to get the sense of the Cirque de Soleil thing though, right? We're taking the next two weeks off to rehearse and work out a plan to get back into the studio. We just went and talked to some people the other morning who are gonna help us take care of that. We'd love to have something out by Fall '06 with a sizable tour to follow. Please keep us in mind if you know of any out-of-town venues that you think we might be good in. Northampton, Portland, Boston, Providence, New Haven, Burlington, Albany, Rochester, NYC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh... Help us out.

Little known fact now proven: 'Freemon' can scratch his head and play drums at once.

Here's some shots from BARLEY HOUSE & DANIEL's. This is 3200 speed B&W film, hence the grain. It's all I had that night that would handle the low-light, but I did shoot some 100 speed color pushed up to 400. Those are coming and hopefully they're okay. I'll post them as soon as I get them.

***NEW VIDEO***

I'm working on a video right now, but am lacking footage. That will come; but in the meantime, I wanted to send some of what I have edited from CBGB's, DANIELS & BARLEY HOUSE. Basically, this has all been shot in the last 9 days. It's far from finished and quite sloppy actually, but I just wanted to send along something to show how much we appreciate the support we've received these past two weeks. THANK YOU. This video is only available on www.yousendit.com for 72 hours. I will re-post it as needed, but get it now if you can, because I'm working out of town this week and won't have much access to my computer.

If you want to see your name in lights, please send us photos or video that you might have of the band. I'm working on a third media page and want to mix it up, so submit your media to foster@thebandjune.com and I will do my best to use it.

I hope you enjoy the movie...it's not our best version of "SORRY", but I wanted to post something short and sweet from CBGB's.

Strike while it's hot......

I just want to thank everyone who came out this weekend to see us. First at DANIEL'S and then at BARLEY HOUSE. It's amazing to us, the band, to see how things have started to shift. We've witnessed a huge increase in support and interest in our music in the last few months, and last night at THE BARLEY HOUSE was the pinnacle of all that. We had an A+ crowd last night & probably the best crowd we've ever played to. From start to finish, you listened to us and so contently that I was more nervous to play BH than I was CBGB's! It's intimidating to have 60 or 70 people listening so closely, but at the same time, it makes us shine to be under that kind of pressure. I am still absolutely amazed at the experience we had last night and if you were there, THANK YOU a million more times. We absolutely love you all. For those of you who missed it....you better make it to the next show, cuz we're on fire!!!

Our next show is planned for the BLUE MERMAID in Portsmouth on April 14th. Please make plans to come see us out there and support us at another one of our favorite rooms. The food and people are amazing and the atmosphere is second only to our 'Cirque de Soleil' stage from last night.

ps- I shot film last night and not digital photos, so it will be a couple of days before I can get some photos up, and believe me...they're coming. For those of you who weren't there, we had one the coolest stages ever last night!!! Freeman & Foster had a vision. I'll let the photos speak for themselves though.

Sidewalk Cafe, Manhattan, NY - APRIL 27th, 2006

I just got word from the lovely Mechelle that she has scored us another gig down in NYC at SIDEWALK CAFE on Avenua A between 6 and 7th St. on the lower east side. Turns-out, she knew the guy who books there, from her days playing and working in San Francisco...so did Michael!!! What a small world huh?!!! Well, she called him and he brought up the website right there...the rest is history! We're in!!!!

APRIL 27th, 2006, 10 p.m.!!! Go on the internet right now and get a cheap hotel room! There will be no bus for this one, but we'll definitely carpool with anyone who steps up. You know the drill.

Another poster for BH.

Alright...here's another version....I don't know, I was just feeling creative this evening. And they're late. Sorry Mech. Sometimes it's not always easy to come up with this stuff. And it never helps if I haven't been shooting. I'm working with a pretty limited stock right now. Props to Freeman while I'm thinking of it....He nailed everything he played at the CBGB's show last weekend. I'm gonna call HIM 'Pockets' cuz he was in the pocket all night! Jah Bless Rastamon!

BARLEY HOUSE 03/18/06

Here's a poster for the gig this weekend @ BH. Hope some of you can make it out for the show. You can also check out our friends LAMONT SMOOTH who will be playing at PENUCHE'S in Concord as well on Saturday night for The First Anual Lamont Smooth day after St' Patrick's Day extravaganja. That would be two great bands in one night. Hold onto your seats Concord!

CBGB's

We all made it home from NYC safe and so completely over-joyed! We had a great turn-out and we're really happy to have played in such a historic place before it dissappears forever and to have a memory that we will share for the rest of our lives (if we can find a way to spare those brain cells). Thank you for the support and try and make it out to see us this weekend, Friday at DANIEL'S opening for BEECHWOOD and Saturday at BARLEY HOUSE in Concord.

I didn't have time to shoot before the show, but Maxwell shot some video for us and I'll Post a couple of frames from that...

Thank you all again for an incredible experience that we will never forget. We owe you big. Best wishes from us all. DBMMP.
