MINI JACKET INTERVIEW

Tom Ferry from www.nhedge.com interviewed Ben, Mechelle and Myself the other night before the Barley Pub show for a Podcast that will air sometime before the first of the year. Tom is a super-nice guy and has become a great friend of the band.

Tom plays for The Molenes, so if you get a chance, check them out. They just released a new album about a month ago, that's really great. "This Car Is Big" is the title.

Here's a new Podcast with some video from our show at Nectar's in Vermont the other night.

Please come out to the Barley Pub in Dover, NH on Nov. 11, 2006. At 9:30 sharp, MJ will open for one of NH's most famed musical acts, PONDERING JUDD. The band has graciously asked us to come join them for our first show together, and with the hope of many more, we are honored to do so.

PJUDD has been a fixture in the regional music scene for well-over Ten years and their music is thoughtful and dynamic. With years of touring under their belts, several albums and hundreds of shows, we feel very fortunate to join them for a night of music.

This may seem like nothing to you guys, but I have been trying for ONE FULL YEAR to get our band mentioned in SPOTLIGHT magazine out on the seacoast. Well, it finally happened. I don't think they like us there because I'm kind of a squeeky wheel, but either way, they are a magazine that touts itself as something that "supports the local scene', yet they have never printed one word of my dozens of press-releases I've sent in the last 12 months.

Indirectly, it was mentioned in J.L. Stevens column, that we would be playing with PONDERING JUDD at Barley Pub this week. YESSSSSS! We had to sneak in, but we got in M-F's!!!! I'll bring it, so you can put it in your pipe and smoke it.

ROCK ON!!! Hope to see you all out in Dover this weekend, where the women are wild and the water's like wine!!! Or you could just hang out in Concord....

CHICKY'S FINE DINER - THURS. 12/28/06 - 7 pm

Thanks to our good friends Marty England and Tom Ferry, we just picked up a gig at one of New England's Premiere Alt-country/Americana venues. Chicky's Fine Diner is right outside of Portland, Maine and from what I've been hearing it's a great place to play and see music, as well as to eat. Check their website out by clicking the title of this post.

The show starts at 7:15 and we will be playing with the Club-owners band, The Bourbonaires, a six-piece Alt-country band.

Come join us for one of our last shows of the year and truly one of our proudest. We have worked all-year to get into that area and it will be our first show in Maine, ever!!!
