DOVER SOUL - THURSDAY, NOV. 2, 2006

We will be at Dover Soul this week on Thursday. Please come check it out.

Just want to drop a line to all the kind folks we met at the Dover Brickhouse last night and we hope to see you out on Thursday!

All the bands were so great in their musical costumes and they did such an amazing job pulling it off! My favorite was the Texas Govenor as 'The Cars' though!!! I loved the intros!

Thanks to Tom Ferry for the CD's and the chance to hang out and to all the lovely ladies who let us take your pictures!!! HERE ARE THE PHOTOS...

BARLEY PUB in DOVER, 11/11/06 with PONDERING JUDD

Mini Jacket will open for Pondering Judd at the Barley Pub in Dover, NH on MLK Day, November 11, 2006.

Pondering judd is one in a select group of A-List bands in New Hampshire that has stood the test of time, only to reveal dynamic musicianship and song-crafting through years of friendship and hard work. Bands like this are few and far-between and we're definitely honored to join them on a special occasion for themselves, as well. (It's their first time back at Barley Pub in two years!)

Come check it out and tell your friends!!!

See you there.

We REALLY need you to come support us! We're going to try and get another gig or two in the city that weekend, so make plans to stay with friends or come crash with us and make a wild weekend of it all.

Hope to see you there!

They will be at Milly's in Manchester, tonight with Beechwood and Ron Noyes Band. Saturday, October 21, 2006 they will be at Penuche's in Concord, NH. Try not to miss these guys while they are up. You will be thoroughly entertained.

MINI JACKET "NH SONG" - 'TOOKY LEGION 10/14/06

I just posted a Podcast of MINI JACKET's "NH SONG" from the American Legion Hall in Contoocook last night.

MJ opening for BEECHWOOD SATURDAY!

Mini Jacket will open-up for BEECHWOOD. this Saturday at the Contoocook Legion Hall Post # 81 on Bound Tree Rd. in Contoocook, NH.

The show is a benefit for the 521 Club in honor of our dear friend Josh Russell, whom we lost 2 years ago. Josh was an avid sportsman and skier and the 521 club raises money for the Josh Russell Ski Racing Scholarship Fund, through its annual Fishing Derby and Shows like this.

Please bring anyone you can think of to celebrate and support this cause with us. It's bound to be an amazing night of music and good times.

EAGLE SQUARE - SEPT. 30, 2006

EAGLE SQUARE PHOTOS

We had a good time yesterday and the other musicians were great! Brown Hill, from Concord, started it off with some great, original music with a dash of angst. Dan Blakeslee absolutely blew the crowd away with his presence in the natural amphitheatre that dominates Eagle Square. Beechwood came next and got things moving with a charged yet smooth set of originals and covers with Mini Jacket closing the day out at 5 PM.

Thank you to Brian Shea for hosting the event as well as everyone who showed up to support the Barley House and musicians. Also a huge Thanks to the people from the Farmers Market who set-up shop in the square. I saw a lot of faces there that I had seen the night before at the Barley House! ...And then I saw a lot of those people in Henniker later on last night (9/30) watching Beechwood play at New England College. Henniker/Tooky/Hopkinton/Concord/Bow has always had a little hub-thing going and it was out in force yesterday!!! That is the kind of music-scene that ALL of NH needs!!!

I'll post my film when I get it back. Yeah, I'm still shooting some film. Digital cameras are out-dated in 2 years, but my Nikon F has lasted me 16 so far and I've never felt held back. All digital is good for is sticking me in front of a computer for a couple of hours. That's all I have to say.
