THE BAND JUNE will be at the Dover Brickhouse on JUNE 16th with LAMONT SMOOTH and RON NOYES BAND. This is a showcase spot to feature bands from the Concord area, so we are hoping to get a lot of people out that night to show Dovah' what kind of scene we have back here. Thanks to Nicole Wheeler for putting us in her blog for this weekends activities in Conc-alulu. We'll be puttin' on another 'Circue de Soleil' set tonight for the fun of it, so please come down and get some photos and videos so I can post them here and on the website. TBJ - BARLEY HOUSE - 05/12/06

TBJ will be at the BARLEY HOUSE in Concord on May 12th. Our friend DEREK ASTLES was to be our special guest, but at the last minute, the BH Management informed us that they don't allow 'opening-acts'. As the main writer and creator of this blog, I will voice my personal opinion and say that I think that is a bad idea. One of the most powerful tools a band has to build its name is Word-of-Mouth. Sharing the stage and exposing the music to new crowds is the number one goal of any performing band and that tool has been greatly undermined by those actions.
TBJ would like to apologize to Derek for the inconvenience caused to him and also vow to make it up to him at a later date.
