R.I.P. Eric Von Schmidt

We have lost a National Treasure. I had the amazing opportunity to live with a friend in Von Schmidt's house in Henniker, NH for a short while and amongst his writings, paintings, photographs, records, books and furniture, a deep and lifelong passion for Art and Music was nurtured.
It was terribly sad to read of his passing last weekend and I hope that those of you who read this, will investigate him more and learn what a truly important person he was to the heritage of our Nation.
